Check in Journal (“the App”) is developed and provided by Skraneix Development Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Check in Journal is a fully local, offline productivity app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

2. Information We Collect

We do NOT collect any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Name
• Email address
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage data
• Analytics data
• Journal content, check-ins, or calendar entries

All content you create — including journal entries, check-ins, and settings — is stored entirely on your device. No information is sent to our servers or to any third party.

3. Local Data Storage

All data created within the App is stored locally on your device.

If you choose to create a local backup, that backup file:

• Is stored only on your device or file system
• Is not transmitted to us
• Is fully controlled by you

We do not have access to any of your backups.

4. Premium Purchases

The App offers a one-time premium purchase. Purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

We do not receive:

• Payment information
• Billing details
• Personal identity information

The only data handled is what the app stores locally to unlock premium features.

5. No Account Required

The App does not require:

• Account creation
• Login
• Registration
• Email address
• Any personal information

All features work offline.

6. No Data Sharing or Selling

We do NOT:

• Share data
• Sell data
• Send data to advertising partners
• Use tracking tools
• Use analytics SDKs
• Set up profiles or identifiers

Since we do not collect any data, no data is sold or shared.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal information, the following applies:

GDPR (EU Users)

Under GDPR you have rights such as access, deletion, portability, and objection. However, since we do not collect or store any data, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete.

CCPA (California Users)

We do not collect personal information as defined under CCPA. We do not sell personal information. California users may contact us, but we have no data to disclose or delete.

CalOPPA

We do not track users. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals because the App does not track or collect any data.

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Third-Party Services

The App does not use:

• Third-party analytics
• Ads
• Tracking tools
• Cloud services
• External SDKs that collect data

Purchases are handled by the App Store / Play Store under their own privacy policies.

10. Security

Because no data is transmitted or stored on our servers, your information remains fully in your control. We recommend securing your device with a passcode or biometric lock to protect your journal content.

We may update this Privacy Policy if needed. If changes occur, the updated version will be posted with a new “Effective Date”.
